A man acting "crazy" in public is arrested for public intoxication, an El Granada man going 85 on Highway 1 in Moss Beach is found to be in possession of marijuana, an iPod and Blackberry are stolen from a bicyclist’s car, a public drinker is found to have a meth pipe, a drunk stumbling down Capistrano Rd in Princeton has a blood alcohol of .31, a suicidal woman is taken to the hospital, a man and a woman are arrested for an outstanding warrants, and a DUI in Moss Beach is arrested.

Public intoxication - 647(f) PC

Pescadero, #06-458
[Name Withheld], 33 of Pescadero was arrested and booked into the county jail for public intoxication.  Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to an address on North Street in Pescadero on the report of an intoxicated subject who was acting "Crazy".  When deputies arrived [He put his hands on top of his head and surrendered to the Deputies.  He was quoted as saying, "I messed up. I need to be punished. Please take me away".  [Name Withheld] was arrested and booked into the county jail without further incident and released after sobering up.

[Name Withheld], 45 of El Granada was arrested and cited for speeding and possession of marijuana in a vehicle.  Sheriff’s Office Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on highway 1 in Moss Beach (85 MPH in a 55 MPH zone).  Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle and found a baggie of marijuana.  He was placed under arrest and searched where an additional amount of marijuana was found.  He was arrested and later cited and released at the scene without incident.

Auto Burglary - 459 PC

Kings Mountain, #06-484  
A San Francisco resident reported that his vehicle was parked and locked at Skeggs Point while he went for a bicycle ride.  Sometime while the victim was gone an unknown suspect broke one of the car windows and stole the victim’s blackberry cell phone, iPod, a Brooks Brothers jacket and a pair of sunglasses. 

Possession of drug paraphernalia - 11364 H&S

[Name Withheld], 50 of El Granada was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.  Sheriff’s Deputies stopped him for drinking in public.  He was searched and a methamphetamine pipe was found on his person.  He was cited, issued a court date and released from the scene.

Public intoxication - 647(f) PC

Princeton, # 06-500
[Name Withheld], 43 was arrested and booked into the county jail for public intoxication.  During routine patrol, Sheriff’s Deputies found him stumbling down the street on the 300 block of Capistrano Road.  He was transported and booked into jail where his blood alcohol level was found to be .31 Blood Alcohol Content, almost four times the legal limit.

Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a residence on Virginia Avenue in Moss beach on the report of a family disturbance.  Upon arrival, the Deputies determined that the female resident was contemplating suicide.  The female was placed on a 72 hour mental health evaluation and transported to Mills Peninsula Hospital for a medical/ psychological evaluation without incident.

[Name Withheld], 30, of Montara was arrested at the Sheriff’s Office substation in Moss Beach for an outstanding warrant.  He made contact with Deputies at the Moss Beach substation and was arrested on the outstanding warrant.  He was transported and booked into the county jail without further incident.  The warrant was for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

[Name Withheld], 27 of Pacifica was arrested by Sheriff’s Office Deputies for driving under the influence.  She was observed driving over the double yellow line several times while driving northbound on Highway 1 in Moss Beach.  She failed the field sobriety test and was arrested for driving under the influence.

[Name Withheld], 47 of Moss beach was arrested for two outstanding warrants.  Sheriff’s Office Deputies were contacted by San Mateo County Probation and advised that she had an outstanding warrant she was contacted at an address on Vermont Avenue in Moss Beach and advised of the warrants.  She was then arrested, transported and booked into the county jail without incident.  She told Deputies that she has been addicted to heroin for most of her life, but was hoping to get into a drug treatment program.
