Beach Way, Moss Beach
The victim of a vandalism parked her car at a local restaurant at 1630 hrs to go to work. At the end of her shift, she returned to find that her car was vandalized. It appears that a rock or similar object was used to scratch the passenger side of the car and window.

Elderberry Road, half Moon Bay
On 06-21-05 Sheriff’s Deputies spoke to an Officer of the Presidio of Monterey Police Department regarding a subject, age 18 of Half Moon Bay who may be AWOL. This information was confirmed and deputies were sent a federal warrant for her arrest. Deputies contacted the woman who was aware that the military was looking for her. She was placed under arrest and transported to the county jail.

06-24-05 @ 2000hrs
Avenue Portola, El Granada
Between 06/23/05 at 2000 hours and 06/24/05 at 0800 hours, an unknown suspect used a beer bottle to break the driver side rear passenger window on a vehicle that was parked in front of a residence on Avenue Portola in El Granada. Fingerprints were retrieved and booked into evidence.
Drunk in Public 05-3546

Stage Road, Pescadero
Deputies were dispatched to a church on Stage Road in Pescadero on the report of two drunken males arguing. Deputies spoke to one of the males who admitted to drinking four beers although there were eight beers missing from the twelve pack. One man, age 36, of Pescadero was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself. He was arrested for being drunk in public and transported to the county jail to be released when sober.

06-25-05 @ 2340hrs
Capistrano Road, Princeton
Sheriff’s Deputies were on routine patrol when they noticed a vehicle sitting idle in the middle of a parking lot with the lights on and the engine running. When Deputies opened the passenger door, the driver, age 44, of El Granada was oblivious to their presence. Deputies could smell the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Field sobriety test were given. He was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He was arrested and transported to the county jail.

06-27-05 @ 2142hrs
Highway 92 @ Hwy 35
Sheriff’s Deputies made a traffic stop at the above location. A check with county communications revealed that the driver of the vehicle gave false information to deputies. The driver came back as not having a driver’s license and was transported to the county jail. The staff at the jail had prior booking information and was able to determine that the driver, age 23, of East Palo Alto also had two outstanding warrants.
Residential Burglary 05-3628
06-28-05 @ 1839hrs
Coral Reef Avenue, El Granada
The victim of a residential burglary left the side garage door closed but unlocked. Sometime between 6-24-05 @1200hrs and 6-25-05 @ 0900hrs, an unknown suspect entered the garage and took the victim’s tires and wheels from the corner of garage. There was no forced entry. A similar incident occurred between 6-17-05@1800hrs and 6-18-05 @ 1300-1400hrs. In this incident, a mountain bike was taken. Again, the side door was closed but unlocked. Again, there was no forced entry.
