Sheriff’s Blotter:  March 12 to 18

Steven Ruben Suvaco of Half Moon Bay was arrested on a warrant from the Sheriff’s office for annoying or molesting children, an El Granada woman was arrested for spousal abuse and re-arrested the following day for violating a protective order, two juveniles escaped from a probation camp in La Honda, two men were arrested on warrants—in El Granada for drugs and in San Gregorio for driving with a suspended license, and a cabin at Gazos Creek and a boat in Princeton were both burglarized.

Two juveniles walked away from the Log Cabin juvenile probation camp in La Honda.  The juveniles eluded an extensive search by the Sheriff’s Office.

Lee and Miramar, Miramar – Case# 06-1545
A man, 53 of Half Moon Bay arrested for suspicion of drunk driving.  He was originally stopped by deputies for numerous traffic violations.  A subsequent investigation by the CHP resulted in his arrest for drunk driving.  He was booked into the SMCO jail in Redwood City.

During a probation search, a woman, 46 of El Granada was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.  She was booked into the SMCO jail in Redwood City

Troy Hatcher, 29 of El Granada was taken into custody on a $50,000 arrest warrant out of the Sheriff’s Office. The warrant was for possession of narcotics. He was booked into the SMCO jail in Redwood City.

A woman, 37 of El Granada was arrested for spousal abuse after an investigation revealed she had battered her husband.  She was booked into the SMCO jail in Redwood City.

San Gregorio State Beach, South Coast – Case# 06-1571
After being stopped by deputies for a traffic violation, 32 year old, Robert Otero of Santa Cruz was taken into custody on a $10,000 arrest warrant out of Long Beach. The warrant was for driving on a suspended license.  He was booked into the SMCO jail in Redwood City.

A woman, 37 of El Granada again was arrested by deputies after she violated an Emergency Protective Order.  She was booked into the SM jail in Redwood City.

Gazos Creek and Sandy Point, South Coast – Case# 06-1651
The victim reported to the Sheriff’s Office his cabin and storage trailer were burglarized. Sometime over the past two weeks, thieve(s) stole two chain saws from the storage trailer and consumed a bottle of liquor from the cabin.

100 Block of Princeton, Princeton by the Sea – Case# 06-1671. 
The victim reported to the Sheriff’s Office tools were stolen from his boat. Sometime between 02/18/2006 and 3/18/2006, thieve(s) stole over $200 worth of tools from the boat.

A woman, 56 of Half Moon Bay was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving.  She was originally stopped for a traffic violation.  A subsequent investigation lead to her being arrested for drunk driving.  She was taken to First Chance and released when she was sober.
