Crab pots stolen from the ocean, theft from an unlocked car on Date in Montara,  teen taggers nabbed on Carlos Street in Moss Beach, car stolen and set ablaze in La Honda, auto break-in at Pescadero State Beach, runaway cab passenger in Princeton, and a problematic dog owner in Pescadero:

On Sunday 04-24-11, at approximately 1823 hours, Deputies received a call of a Pitbull attacking another dog in a yard on North St. in Pescadero. Upon arrival they made contact with the reporting party who stated that the neighbor’s dog went into her back yard and attacked her dog. The owner of the Pitbull came to the house grabbed his dog, then left. The reporting party stated this is the third or forth time this has occurred so she decided to report it.

 

 

Theft
04/19/11 @ 1001 hours
Princeton Harbor
A Crab fisherman called to report that another fisherman stole his crab pots from various parts of the ocean off the coast of Half Moon Bay.

Warrant Arrest
04/19/11 @ 2022 hours
Scenic Drive, La Honda
Deputies responded to Scenic Drive in La Honda to attempt to serve a warrant. They contacted the male subject, confirmed the warrant then arrested him and took him to the county jail.

Drugs
04/20/11 @ 1407 hours
Capistrano Road, Princeton
Two subjects were contacted during a traffic stop. A consent search of their vehicle yielded a backpack containing methamphetamine, cocaine and psilocybin mushrooms. Both were arrested and taken to the county jail.

Auto Burglary
04/20/11 @ 0945 hours
1000 block of Date Street, Montara
Sometime between 2300 hours on 04/21/11 and 0945 hours on 04/20/11 unknown suspects made entry into the victims unlocked vehicle and stole his camera. The vehicle was parked in the driveway of the victim’s residence on Date Street.

Warrant Arrest
04/21/11 @ 1935 hours
100 block of Bonita Street, Moss Beach
Deputies went to the listed address to contact a subject for an outstanding warrant. The subject was contacted, the warrant was confirmed and he was taken to the county jail.

Vandalism
04/22/11 @ 1445 hours
Carlos Street / Sierra Street, Moss beach
On 04/22/11 @ 1445 hours three juveniles were contacted while using spray point to tag a wall in an empty lot that was located in the area of Carlos Street. The juveniles admitted to the tagging and were released to the custody of their parents.

Incident Report
04/24/11 @ 0101 hours
Cabrillo Hwy / Capistrano Road, Princeton
A subject called for a cab ride from Hillsdale Mall to the coast then ran from the cab without paying. The suspect was later found and agreed to pay the driver so that no charges would be filed.

Vehicle Recovery
04/24/11 @ 0727 hours
1100 block of Old La Honda Road, La Honda
Unknown suspect(s) took victim’s car without his consent.  The suspect(s) then drove the vehicle to an isolated area in La Honda, CA and set it on fire.  The vehicle was completely gutted and a total loss.  The victim filed a stolen vehicle report with the San Francisco Police Department where the vehicle was stolen from.

04/24/11 @ 1823 hours
600 block of North Street, Pescadero
On Sunday 04-24-11, at approximately 1823 hours, Deputies received a call of a Pitbull attacking another dog in a yard on North St. in Pescadero. Upon arrival they made contact with the reporting party who stated that the neighbor’s dog went into her back yard and attacked her dog. Auto Burglary
04/24/11 @ 1940
Cabrillo Hwy / Pescadero State Beach
On 04/24/2011, between 1920 hours and 1940 hours, unknown suspect(s) entered a vehicle by smashing the window with an unknown object.  The suspect(s) then removed two purses and a duffle bag from the rear passenger seat, including keys, miscellaneous identification cards, $50 dollars in cash, and a Virgin cellular telephone worth approximately $50 dollars.  This occurred while the vehicle was parked on Highway 1, approximately one mile south of Pescadero State Beach, in Pescadero.

DUI
04/24/11 @ 2151 hours
Cabrillo Hwy / La Honda Road, San Gregorio
Deputies were approached by a citizen while they were parked in the parking lot of San Gregorio Beach. The citizen told then that a vehicle had just run through a stop sign at a high rate of speed and crashed into the hill on the west side of Hwy 1. Deputies contacted the driver and found that she had just left a local bar and was driving home when she lost control of the vehicle. Field Sobriety tests were conducted and failed. She was arrested for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and taken to the county jail.

04/27/11 @ 1231 hours
Miramontes Point Road
Deputies contacted two people who were riding on a bike without helmets. One was peddling the bike and to other was riding on the handlebars. A routine check with county communications revealed that one of the subjects had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was arrested and taken to the county jail.
