Two auto burglaries in four days Pescadero, drug possession and DUI’s, and this:

Deputies responded to Seton Coastside Hospital in Moss Beach on the report of a battery.  The victim stated he was attacked by several unknown subjects at a ranch near Cabrillo Highway and Purissma Creek Road.  The victim received injuries to his face and was treated by hospital staff.

Incident Report
12/01/10 @ 1321 hours
200 block of North Street, Pescadero
Deputies were dispatched to a medical call regarding a male subject that had fallen off a ladder. Based on the possibility that the male had received a head injury he was taken by Life Flight to the hospital.

Drugs
12/01/10 @ 2057 hours
Avenue Alhambra, El Granada
Deputies made a traffic stop and found the driver to be in possession of drugs. The driver was arrested and taken to the county jail.

DUI
12/06/10 @ 0822 hours
Salal Road, Moonridge
Deputies were on routine patrol in the Moonridge Housing Community when they saw a subject sleeping in his running vehicle. As they approached the vehicle they saw ten to fifteen open beer cans and bottles on the rear floorboard. They contacted the driver who admitted to drinking. Field sobriety tests were conducted and failed. The driver was arrested and taken to the county jail.

12/06/10 @ 1145 hours
Highway 1 / Rossi Road, Pescadero
Sometime between 1100 hours and 1145 hours on 12/5/10, unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the victim’s vehicle by smashing the left rear passenger window (Valued at approximately $250.00).  The suspect(s) took the victim’s HP Laptop (Valued at $1200.00), Leather computer bag (Valued at $30.00), Computer mouse (Valued at $20.00), LG flip style cell phone (Valued at $170.00), Leather art notebook (Valued at $60.00), Green leather purse (Valued at $30.00) and the victim’s Wells Fargo VISA credit card.

Auto Burglary
12/03/10 @ 1749 hours
11000 Cabrillo Hwy, Pescadero
On December 3, 2010 between the hours of 1600 and 1749 hrs, an unknown suspect or suspect smashed the front passenger door window of the victim’s personal vehicle and stole a purse containing numerous items of identification and value. Estimate value of loss approximately $1,200.00.

DUI
12/04/10 @ 0200 hours
Hwy 1 / Vermont, Moss Beach
Deputies made a traffic stop and found the driver to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Deputies asked the driver if he knew the legal limit for someone under the age of 21 driving after drinking. He replied “zero.” The driver who is under the age of 21 years old was arrested and taken to the county jail.

12/02/10 @ 2318 hours
600 Marine Blvd, Moss Beach
Deputies responded to Seton Coastside Hospital in Moss Beach on the report of a battery.  The victim stated he was attacked by several unknown subjects at a ranch near Cabrillo Highway and Purissma Creek Road.  The victim received injuries to his face and was treated by hospital staff.

Hwy 1 @ Hwy 92
Deputies stopped a vehicle for running a red light and nearly colliding with the patrol vehicle. The driver told the Deputies that she did not possess a valid driver’s license. She was cited and her vehicle was towed.

DUI
12/07/10 @ 1824 hours
Hwy 1 / Wavecrest Road, Half Moon Bay
Deputies made a traffic stop after observing a vehicle speeding to pass another vehicle. They contacted the driver and asked if he knew why they had stopped him. He replied “Yes. I was speeding”. The driver did not have a license, registration or proof of insurance. Deputies noticed open beer cans in the rear seating area. The driver admitted to consuming alcohol before driving the vehicle. He was arrested and taken to the county jail. The licensed, registered owner of the vehicle was called to the scene to retrieve his vehicle.
