Sheriff’s report, Feb 9
A complaint about an aggressive unleashed do on San Pedro Trail, a house i Montara was TP’d, two thefts from unlocked cars on the same day in El Granada, and this:
A male subject went into The Wine Bar in Princeton to retrieve some music equipment. He became upset with the staff accusing them of serving alcohol to minors. He claimed to be an employee of a Fire Department and threatened to have their liquor license revoked. He also ranted about how the management needed to be fired.

A citizen came into the Sheriff’s substation to report that while he was riding his bike on San Pedro Trail an off leash dog was running around his bike causing him to fall off the bike.

Cabrillo Hwy, Montara
Deputies were dispatched to a report of an intoxicated male subject walking into traffic on the highway. They were also advised that the subject was carrying a bottle in his hand and threatening to throw the bottle at passing cars. Deputies contacted the subject who appeared very intoxicated. He could not answer basic questions, appeared agitated and was slurring his words. When asked how much alcohol he had consumed that day he replied “not enough.” He was clearly not able to care for himself. He was arrested and taken to the county jail to be released when sober.

Cabrillo Hwy / Coronado St., El Granada
Deputies were dispatched to a possible drunk driver in the area of El Granada. Deputies located the vehicle and made a stop. They contacted the driver and while talking to him they could smell the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. They also noticed that there was an open beer bottle on the floorboard of the vehicle. Field sobriety tests were conducted and failed. The driver was arrested and taken to the county jail.

1200 block of Cedar St., Montara
A citizen called the Sheriff’s Office to report that at approximately 0050 hours he heard three loud bangs coming from the outside of his residence. He went to see what the noise was and found that someone had knocked down his motion sensor light and toilet papered the front of his house.

100 block of Culebra, Moss Beach
Deputies were dispatched to a noise complaint. They contacted five subjects. One was struggling to maintain his balance. His speech was slurred and his eyes were blood shot and watery. Deputies asked him if he had consumed any alcohol. He replied “yes, a lot.” He was unable to care for himself. He was taken to the county jail. Once at the jail he began to vomit. He was then taken to the county hospital for further treatment.

Vallejo St., El Granada
Between Saturday, February 5th at 1900 hrs., and Sunday February 6th at 0745 hrs., a theft occurred from an unlocked vehicle parked in front of a residence on Vallejo Street in El Granada. A white bag with the embroidered name “John” with baseball equipment inside of the bag was taken from the trunk, for a total loss of approximately $250.00.

500 block of Palma Street, El Granada
Between Saturday, February 5th at 1530 hrs., and Sunday February 6th at 0700 hrs., a car theft occurred from an unlocked vehicle parked in front of residence on Palma Street in El Granada. The center console, glove box, and gas hatch were left open. A white small 10-in-1 tool valued at $25.00 was taken from the center console. No suspects were seen, however, the car horn was heard at approx. 0300 hrs.

2nd and Main, Montara
On 02-07-2011, at approximately 0957 hours, a subject was contacted during a welfare check at the intersection of 2nd Street and Main Street in Unincorporated San Mateo County. While conducting a probation search of his person, a used glass pipe containing a usable quantity of crystal methamphetamines was located. This is a violation of H&S 11364(a) - possession of drug paraphernalia and H&S 11377(a) - possession of a controlled substance. The subject was arrested, transported and booked into the San Mateo County Jail without incident.
