Graffiti on trailer in Princeton, burglary via an unlocked window in a fenced backyard on Le Conte in Montara, a similar attempted burglar on Loma Vista in Moss Beach, and a barking dog is creating serious friction among neighbors in El Granada:

Deputies responded to a barking dog complaint. They have responded to the address on more than ten occasions.  The homeowner told Deputies that she is trying to keep the dogs quiet and the two parties involved have a court date in February.

Vandalism
01/04/11 @ 1430 hours
100 block of Harvard Ave., Princeton
Between 1-1-2011 at approximately 1430 hrs. and 1-3-2011 at 1430 hrs., an act of graffiti vandalism occurred to the side of a building on Harvard Avenue in unincorporated Princeton-by-the-Sea and also onto the side of a commercial trailer parked in an adjoining vacant lot. No suspects were seen or heard and damage was estimated at $500.00 to repair.

DUI
01/06/11 @ 2227 hours
1000 block of Columbus St., El Granada
Deputies were dispatched to a report of a reckless driver. They spotted the vehicle traveling towards them. Deputies had to swerve to avoid a head on collision. Deputies attempted to pull the vehicle over. The occupants jumped out of the vehicle and ran through a rear yard. Deputies went to the registered owner’s home in case the occupants returned. When they did, Deputies interviewed them and could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s person. The subject was arrested for DUI and transported to the county jail.

Residential Burglary
01/08/11 @ 1830 hours
500 block of La Conte, Montara
Between Friday, January 7th 2011 at 1630 hrs. and 1830 hrs., a residential burglary occurred on Le Conte Avenue in unincorporated Montara.  Entry was made via an open bedroom window from within a fenced and gated area.  A pocket camera was taken along with selected jewelry for an estimated loss of approximately $9,400.00.  No tool marks or fingerprints were located.  Several photos were taken of the suspected burglar’s footprints.  No suspects were seen or heard.

Attempted Residential Burglary
01/08/11 @ 1500 hours
800 block of Loma Vista St., Moss Beach
Between Tuesday, January 4th 2011 at 1000 hrs. and Thursday, January 6th at 1500 hrs, an attempted burglary occurred on Loma Vista in unincorporated Moss Beach.  A window screen was removed from outside a living room window. The window was inside the fenced perimeter area which was only accessible via a side gate.  No access was made into the residence.  No tool marks or fingerprints were located.  No suspects were seen or heard.

Warrant Arrest
01/11/11 @ 1835 hours
300 block of 11th St., Montara
Deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant. They contacted the subject, confirmed that warrant then arrested the subject and took her to the county jail.

Public Intoxication
01/11/11 @ 1650 hours
Johnson Pier, Princeton
Deputies were dispatched to a report of two people fighting in the boat dock in Princeton Harbor. The reporting party told Deputies that he was working on his boat when the other subject came up and started an argument with him. He would not leave the area. The subject told Deputies that he took a taxi from San Francisco with the sole purpose of meeting the reporting party and causing a ruckus which would require a police response. He was highly intoxicated and uncooperative. He was arrested and taken to the county jail.
