Walkaways from Camp Glenwood stole a vehicle and cell phone from a La Honda home, theft from an unlocked vehicle in Princeton, a restraining order violation in Princeton, and this:

Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle on Devils Slide. The driver was contacted and asked why he did not pull over when the Deputes put their lights on. He replied “I didn’t want to hit Santa Claus and his reindeer.” The driver appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic stimulant. He was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and transported to the county jail

Miramontes Point Rd / Salal Road, Half Moon Bay
Four subjects are contacted as occupants of a vehicle reported to be drinking and driving.  Two minors are found in possession of alcohol, marijuana, and giving false information to a peace officer.  The subjects were cited and released to their parents with a promise to appear.

Residential Burglary

Pope Road, La Honda
Sheriff’s Office tracking K-9 Morgan assisted with the search of two juveniles that walked away from Camp Glenwood. They stole a vehicle and cell phone from a residence then tried to drive away. They drove the vehicle over a curb and got stuck. The vehicle was returned to the owner and the juveniles were arrested and booked into juvenile hall.

Theft
01/13/11 @ 1735 hours
100 block of Airport St. Princeton
Deputies responded to 207 Palma Street in the town of El Granada on the report of a theft from a vehicle.  The theft occurred in front of a business on Airport Street.  An unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole a large purse.  Stolen items included the purse, keys, and a calculator.  An estimated value of the stolen items was approximately $40. 

Missing Person

Paloma Ave., El Granada
Deputies responded to a report of a missing person. The reporting party told them that his wife had not returned to the home after attending a meeting. The wife was later found sleeping in her parked vehicle.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Violation of a Restraining Order

100 block of Columbia Ave, Princeton
A female was arrested after she made a phone call from a residence that she was restrained from entering. She was arrested and taken to the county jail.
