Sheriff’s report, March 30
Public intoxication in Princeton and Pescadero, a possible bomb, warrant arrest, theft and commercial burglary in Pescadero, and child neglect in Princeton:
Deputies responded to Stanford Avenue to conduct a welfare check after a concerned citizen reported possible child endangerment at that address. Upon initial contact the male subject became physically combative with Deputies. The investigation also revealed that both the male and his wife were providing extremely unsafe living condition for their 3 month old baby. Child Protective Services responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. They took custody of the baby. The male subject was placed under arrest for felony child endangerment charges, as well as for resisting, delaying, and obstructing deputies from performing their duties. The female was placed under arrest for felony child endangerment charges. Both subjects were transported and booked into the county jail.

Princeton Harbor
Deputies were dispatched to Johnson Pier in Princeton on a report of an extremely intoxicated male subject. They contacted the subject and found him in possession of two bottles of Vodka. He was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself. He was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the county jail.

Deputies were dispatched to the Harbor on a report of an explosive package that had been found. The area was secured and the Bomb Squad was called to safely remove and dispose of the package.

500 block of Avenue Alhambra, El Granada
Between 1800 hours on 3/23/11 and 0900 hours on 3/24/11, unknown suspect(s) spray painted the rear stairwell area as well as the walls inside the covered carport parking area of the commercial building located on the 500 block of Avenue Alhambra in El Granada.
Warrant Arrest

Cabrillo Hwy / Capistrano Rd, Princeton
Deputies made a traffic stop and contacted both the driver and passenger. The passenger told Deputies that he “might” have a small warrant out of San Francisco. A routine check through county communications revealed that he had four outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was taken to the county jail.

1900 block of Pescadero Creek Rd, Pescadero
Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at a restaurant. The reporting party told them that there was a drunken subject giving the waitress difficulties. Deputies contacted the subject who asked if they were there to give him a ride home. He was escorted out of the restaurant. He was having trouble maintaining his balance and was unable to follow simple directions. Deputies determined that he was too intoxicated to care for himself. He was arrested and taken to the county jail.

Prospect Way, Princeton
Deputies were dispatched to a report of an intoxicated female sitting outside a local restaurant. They contacted the subject who had trouble communicating with the Deputies. She was unable to provide any contact information or care for herself. She was arrested and taken to the county jail.
Child Neglect

100 block of Stanford, Princeton

Deputies were dispatched to a local restaurant on the report of a male subject loitering and bothering customers. Deputies contacted the subject and asked him what he had in the jug. He replied “breakfast.” It was determined that he was too intoxicated to care for himself. He was arrested and taken to the county jail.
Theft

An employer became the victim of a grand theft and vandalism when a former employee stole irrigation pipes and damaged irrigation pipes and sprinklers on his property.
Commercial Burglary

300 block of Butano Cut Off. Pescadero
Between 1200 hours on 3/27/2011 and 0750 hours on 3/28/2011, unknown suspect(s) burglarized Pescadero High School, located on Butano Cut Off. The unknown suspect(s) broke a window to gain entry and stole two Mac computers and an unknown brand projector.

100 block of Avenue Granada, El Granada
On Wednesday, March 30, 2011, deputies were dispatched to Avenue Granada in El Granada regarding an intoxicated female banging on the front door. The suspect was contacted by deputies. She told them that she lived at the residence. The reporting party told the Deputies that she had let the subject and her male friend stay for one night but she was not welcome to stay any longer. The female was too intoxicated to care for herself. She was arrested and taken to the county jail.
