This reports covers the period August 26 to Sept 6.

Although a fifth subject in a "vehicle burglary ring" was arrested at Gray Whale Cove on Aug 26, two more burglaries happened there on the afternoon of Sept 1. There was also two smashed window burglaries near Surfers Beach at about the same time. There was a residential burglary in an unspecified community. Three vehicles, two unregistered, were towed on Aug 30. And there were several DUI and public intoxication arrests. Also: medical transport and indecent exposure, and a brawl in Princeton:

Deputies were dispatched to a report of battery. They were advised that there were approximately 30 people in a physical fight. Upon arrival the group had dispersed. One male subject was too intoxicated to care for himself and he was transported to the county jail.

Unknown suspects broke out the driver’s side window of the victim’s vehicle. Nothing was taken.

Deputies contacted a male subject known to have an outstanding warrant. The warrant was confirmed the subject was taken to the county jail.

Unknown subjects smashed the front passenger window and stole a purse, wallet, necklace, i-pod, digital camera, and laptop.

Deputies made a traffic stop. A routine check with county communications revealed that the driver had an outstanding warrant. He was taken to the county jail.

Driver contacted for a traffic violation. A consent search revealed that he was in possession of drugs.

Deputies served an arrest warrant at the listed address. The male subject was arrested for the $20,000 warrant and taken to the county jail.
