Sheriff’s report: Week ending Oct 27

Four tires slashed on two cars in La Honda, a crack pipe, DUI, a warrant arrest with drugs, another DUI.  And this in Pescadero:

... a subject was observed by several witnesses attempting to gain entry into a vehicle which was parked on Cloverdale Road south of Eden West Road in unincorporated Pescadero.  While attempting to gain entry into the vehicle, the alarm activated and the subject ran from the scene northbound on Cloverdale Road.  The subject was contacted by several of the witnesses and detained on Cloverdale Road north of the location where the vehicle was parked.  The subject was arrested and taken to the county jail.

10/19/10 @ 1501 hours
Airport St / Los Banos, Moss Beach
On 10-19-2010, at approximately 1501 hours a subject was contacted during a welfare check on Airport Street. A records check by County Communications provided Deputies with a California Department of Corrections parole with search and seizure on the subject. A search of the subject produced a used glass methamphetamines pipe, a violation of HS11364 - Possession of paraphernalia, and a small plastic bag containing suspected crystal methamphetamines which tested presumptive positive, a violation of HS11377 (a) - Possession of a controlled substance.

DUI
10/22/10 @ 0157 hours
Cabrillo Hwy / Grand Blvd, El Granada
Deputies made a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver was found to be driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He was arrested and taken to the county jail.

Warrant Arrest
10/22/10 @ 1115 hours
300 block of California Ave, Moss Beach
Deputies contacted a subject known to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was placed under arrest and taken to the county jail.

Drugs

300 block of California Ave, Moss Beach
While Deputies were contacting the person wanted for a warrant at this same address they contacted a subject who exhibited the signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was also taken to the county jail.

Vandalism
10/23/10 @ 2148 hours
Stage Rd, La Honda
On 10/23/2010, unknown suspect(s) slashed four tires on two different vehicles.  The vehicles were parked on Stage Road in unincorporated San Mateo County.  The total damage to both vehicles is approximately $360.00.

DUI
10/24/10 @ 0307 hours
Cabrillo Hwy / Roosevelt Blvd, Miramar
Deputies made a traffic stop on a vehicle that they observed swerving and crossing over the designated lines of the highway. The driver was found to be driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He was arrested and taken to the county jail.

Auto Burglary
