Strange Americans

I received a postcard in the mail today from a construction company north of Devil’s Slide.  Their come-on was that "We don’t bring strangers to your home.  Our staff is 100% American".  I just thought it was humorous.  Since I don’t know them, they are all strangers to me.  The fact that they are all Americans, they must mean to include both North, Central and South Americans.  Then who exactly are they identifying as strangers?  The French?  Using veiled racism and fear-mongering as an advertising scheme is a tact I thought had gone out with the Whites Only signs.
