The Docks Will Be Decked!

Family Fun abounds at Annual Boat Decorating Festival

Join in on some of the Coastside’s
most classic holiday fun at the
23rd Annual Boat Decorating Festival
this Saturday, Dec. 11 at 5:00 pm.

Many of the harbor’s boats will be decked in lights and intricate holiday accessories as they compete for the coveted prize: Free docking for a month. Even the normally locked dock dedicated to the “live aboard boats” and yachts will be open for participants and passersby to explore.

The Elks Concert Band begins at 5:00 p.m. and a lively group of carolers will meet to sing near the Fish Market. Come and sing to feel the spirit of the season. At the restaurant we’ll be offering free, hot apple cider and in the spirit of the (now deceased) Rod Schoenlank’s tradition, lightly-used stuffed animals for adoption. Santa will be on hand with an ample lap for the kids to snug on.
