Time for a “Taste of the Coast” on Sunday, 9/13

Letter

By on Tue, September 8, 2009

Join us for a Taste of the Coast—A showcase of more than 30 coastside restaurants and food purveyors, from Montara to Gazos Creek. Here’s your chance to sample many local specialties and meet many of the staff behind the cuisine.

The event benefits Senior Coastsiders’ programs for seniors and adults with disabilities here on the coast, including Meals on Wheels, senior lunches, and classes.

Music will be provided by local favorite The RiP-TiDes, a vintage, 60s-style, rock’n'roll band, so bring your dancing shoes! A No Host Bar will be available. Raffle drawings will be held throughout the evening for great prizes. A separate silent auction will feature items such as art, collectibles, jewelry, wine, vacation stays and spa treatments.

Expect an evening of great food, great wine, great people and great music. Last year’s Taste of the Coast drew more than 200 people.
