Wild cat north of Montara?

Did anyone happen to see and recognize the dead wild cat on the side of the road about 815 this morning (Thu 10/6) There was a CHP and some other person tending to it. It was a smallish spotted cat, guessing bobcat, but was wondering if anyone knew for sure.
