I heard that a Popeye Chicken is coming to Beacon station on 92. Never ate at one. Is it any good? How does it compare to KFC?Is it just the usual fried in fat stuff? My Doc sez can only eat metamucil & oatbran, YUK, these days. As my 67 year old bod has enuff junk food in it & needs to expell it.

As much as I have been dreading another fast-food restaurant at the corner of 92 and 1, I have to say that I really like Popeye’s Chicken.

Do you know where to get some of the best fried chicken in Half Moon Bay?

Taqueria La Mexicana, next to La Cumbre.  Takes 15 minutes because they make it to order.  Great fries too.

Will I go to Popeye’s?  Sure, at some point, if I can find it in the purple grease smog that emanates from Burger King.

Thanks Brian will give La Cumbre fried chicken a try with a side of Metamucil to keep my Doc happy.
